Neil Foden
On the 8th May 2024, the BBC reported on the prosecution of Neil Foden in Mold Crown Court, a school head teacher who is accused of sexually abusing five young girls.

The allegations against her concern two teenage boys whom she met through her job as a teacher at a Greater Manchester school.
Christopher Charlton
Christopher Charlton, a teacher at Greenwood School, in Halstead, Essex has been banned from teaching after sexually abusing pupils more than 30 years ago. A Teaching Regulation Agency panel heard evidence from five ex-pupils of the school, where Christopher Charlton taught Physical Education and Mathematics between 1986 and 1993. Mr Charlton denied the allegations. A police investigation began after a number of pupils said they had been sexually assaulted by Mr Charlton, but the police decided to take no further action.
Dr Iuliu Stan
The BBC reports that Dr Iuliu Stan was found by a medical practitioners’ tribunal in February 2024 to have "preyed" on patients at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. The tribunal heard allegations of misconduct surrounding 37 anonymous patients. More people have now been told they could potentially have been victims. The hearing found that Dr Stan subjected patients, some of them children, to "unnecessary, invasive and intimate procedures for his own sexual gratification". This case has disturbing similarities to that of Manish Shah, a former GP who received five life sentences for sexually abusing women during examinations.
UPDATE:
On the 14th January 2025, the BBC also reported that the Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust had admitted liability and extended an unreserved apology following a finding by a medical practitioners tribunal in 2024, that Dr Iuliu Stan, had “subjected mainly male patients, including children, to unnecessary intimate and invasive procedures for his own sexual gratification.”

Michael Costin
On the 25th July 2024, Essex scout leader, Michael Costin was sentenced to 15 years in prison by Snaresbrook Crown Court. One of his victims gave evidence via a written letter to his parents, written nearly 25 years ago. What is shocking about this case, that Costin had been a school teacher in Ipswich as well having convictions for abusing other children in other parts of the country.
Graham Goodchild
In September 2024, an 82 year old man, Graham Goodchild was sentenced to 25 years for the abuse of children whilst working at Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool. Mr Goodchild had worked as a night superintendent during the 1960’s and early 1970’s. The police said that Goodchild had used his position of trust to carry out appalling and despicable offences against young children.
Sean McNally
On the 30th September 2024, Sean McNally, a former organ teacher and choir master at St Peter’s Church, Hersham pleaded guilty to sexual offences committed between 1973 and 1976. Surrey Police paid tribute to the victim, who found the courage and confidence to come forward. Cases of this nature illustrate the fact that there is no law of limitation in relation to sexual crimes – these crimes occurred half a century ago. Moreover, this case explodes the myth that there can be no prosecution because it is “one’s person’s word against another.” There only appears to have been one victim here.
John Staveley
On the 26th September 2024, a former football coach and ex-teacher from Doncaster, John Staveley was sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court to nine and a half years in prison for committing sexual offences against children. The offences had taken place over the course of a decade from the late 1990s. According to the police, "Staveley abused his position as a mentor and guide to young children in sports and educational settings.”

He was sentenced to 22 years’ imprisonment. A medical expert testified that there was no medical justification for Stephen Cox’s actions. The sentence reflects the disturbing abuse of power.
Angus Blackwood
The Teaching Regulation Authority (TRA) has banned for life a head teacher who "repeatedly" sexually assaulted students at schools in Buckinghamshire. Angus Blackmore had been jailed in September 2023 after being found guilty of five child sex offences at Aylesbury Crown Court. Dr Wayne Davis
A GP, Dr Wayne Davis from Salford has been jailed for assaulting two female patients. Manchester Crown Court heard that he had conducted unnecessary, intimate examinations and procedures on two women between 1995 and 2006. The police said that “Davis' actions are truly horrific and shocking, he was in a position of power and used this for his own sexual gratification.”
Dr Manish Shah
We act for a number of victims of another GP convicted of abuse. In 2023, Dr Manish Shah, a GP from Romford was convicted of a total of 115 sexual assault offences against 28 female victims over three separate trials at the Central Criminal Court.
