Neil holds a 2:2 BA (Hons) degree from the City of London Polytechnic and a 2:1 LLB (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University. He gained the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course from the Nottingham Law School.
Neil is also a Graduate member of CILEX and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Neil has a variety of low and high-value personal injury cases, comprising of road traffic accident claims, accidents at work, public liability and occupiers’ liability cases. He has some experience of asbestos-related industrial disease claims and has assisted a Partner with her caseload of high-value matters including catastrophic injuries. Neil has an interest in holiday resort injury claims including food poisoning cases. Neil is an experienced lawyer, having been in legal practice for approximately 20 years. He works at our Nottingham office.
Ryan – v – Baldwin a County Court decision that was reported in Current Law and set what was then a new common law rule on implied waiver of legal privilege over documents that are mentioned in witness statements. The decision in that case has been incorporated into the Civil Procedure Rules at rule 31.14.
