What are the pelvic mesh surgery complications?

Unfortunately not all pelvic mesh operations are successful. It may also be the case that a doctor has been negligent in the way they failed to provide a patient with alternatives before recommending the surgery.

Some typical pelvic mesh surgery complications can include:

  • Badly-fitted mesh becoming dislodged during intercourse
  • Abnormal bleeding or discharge
  • A sudden surge in water infections
  • Pain when passing urine
  • Sharp spasms in the pelvic area
  • Constant pain in the abdomen
