Sara Gibbs Joins the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyer’s Executive Committee

Lime Solicitors are proud to be active members of the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers (SCIL) which represents the top specialist clinical negligence practices in England and Wales.

Through our work with SCIL, we help promote best practice in the conduct of clinical negligence claims, to influence public policy for the benefit of victims of clinical negligence and to promote access to justice and patient safety.

We are pleased to announce that Legal Director Sara Gibbs, who specialises in clinical negligence in our London office, has been appointed to SCIL’s Executive Committee. Sara has been a qualified solicitor since 1994 and deals with a vast range of actions against GPs, hospital trusts, surgeons, community nursing staff, and other health professionals.

Sara also undertakes numerous dental cases, which handle issues such as implant failure, periodontal disease and negligent dental treatment.

A word from Sara:

I value the work done by SCIL, and by joining the Executive Committee I wish to make a personal contribution to their work.

I understand the need for people to be properly represented when bringing clinical negligence action against their GP or the NHS. These cases can be highly complex, and overwhelming for an injured person, who is often still recovering from their injuries. Clients are often daunted and frightened at the thought of taking legal action. This is where our expertise and experience comes in and we are more than able to guide them safely through the process. We provide an arm for them to lean on and work with some of the best medical experts in the country.

I never forget the importance of the role we do and what our work means to our clients. Our successful track record and national reputation as a firm shows our commitment to clinical negligence work and our commitment to our clients.

Anyone considering bringing a claim is welcome to e-mail me at sara.gibbs@limesolicitors.co.uk and I will happily contact them for an informal chat, free of charge.
