In an article published in The Times newspaper on 27 July 2017 entitled “Help when your holiday collapses”, Lime’s Mark Jackson points out that health and safety laws differ from country to country and that hotels and activity providers only have to meet the local health and safety standards. Therefore, booking a package holiday through a tour operator does not guarantee extra safety.
