Clinical Risk Assessment Nurse
Lime Solicitors
Medical Negligence

Daniel is a Welsh born clinician now based in Devon, with over 10 years’ experience in frontline health care. He spent almost nine years working within NHS emergency medicine, alongside experience in private pre-hospital care, developing strong clinical judgement in high pressure environments.

Daniel is passionate about education and currently delivers clinical skills facilitation at the University of Plymouth, where he trained as a nurse, supporting and helping to shape the next generation of nursing professionals.

As one of the firm’s first Clinical Risk Assessment Nurses, Daniel is committed to enhancing patient safety through robust assessment, proactive risk management, and the delivery of high standards of clinical care.

Daniel has extensive experience in caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, across a wide range of clinical situations. His background includes managing patients with multiple conditions, ranging from minor injuries, sepsis, head injuries, trauma, and mental health concerns to resuscitation, learning disabilities, cardiac events, and other complex medical cases.

Daniel also provides pre-hospital care at a variety of events throughout the South West, ensuring timely and effective interventions in the field.

Having worked in the NHS for over a decade, Daniel deeply appreciates the excellence it delivers in patient care while recognising that, on occasion, things can go wrong. In his role at the firm, he focuses on identifying when standards of care have fallen short, advocating for patience, and contributing to systems that reduce the risk of errors being repeated. Equally, Daniel aims to recognise and highlight when care has gone right, ensuring that best practise is acknowledged and shared.
