Kevin is an ex-Yorkshire miner, brought up on the Nottingham-Yorkshire border. After leaving the mining industry, he joined South Yorkshire Police and has spent most of his career as a traffic officer and police motorcyclist, dealing with fatal and catastrophic road accidents. Kevin trained as a family liaison officer, being deployed into families who had suffered a loss through either road collisions or homicide. He was even lucky enough to spend a few months working in Pakistan training officers from their traffic department.

After leaving the Police, Kevin took up a position in a law firm as Business Development Manager for over five years before joining Lime Solicitors in March 2023.
