Sam joined the Mayo Wynne Baxter Clinical Negligence team in September 2019 and has been part of the wider Lime Solicitors team since the merger in May 2023. He qualified as a Solicitor in November 2023 and now has over four years’ experience working in clinical negligence. Sam is passionate about providing an outstanding service to his clients and supporting them through every step of their claim.
Sam has been studying and working in the legal sector for over ten years. Sam completed his Law Degree at the University of Sussex in 2018, graduating with a First. He then went on to achieve a Distinction on the Legal Practice Course in addition to obtaining an LLM in Professional Legal Practice. Sam was involved in a number of pro bono initiatives during his time at university, including the Sussex Family Law Clinic for which he was presented with the Clinical Legal Education Award in 2018.
Since starting his training, Sam has developed experience across a broad range of clinical negligence claims, including delayed diagnosis, mismanaged treatment, spinal injuries and surgical negligence. He has also assisted with a number of high-value, complex brain injury claims.
