As the flooding caused by Storm Henk continues to initiate school closures and public transport cancellations, many employees will be concerned about how to get to work. Our Head of Employment, Neha Thethi, spoke with the Birmingham Mail on this issue and what an employee’s legal rights are in these unprecedented circumstances.

Neha says: “Whether employees get paid on days when they cannot make it into the office will largely depend on their contract of employment… Many employers will have a ‘bad weather policy’, so it is always worth checking your contract.”
