Martin Usher has joined the Lime Solicitors Personal Injury team as a new partner in London, with particular expertise in handling serious injury and major trauma claims. Martin has been a Trustee for our partners Headway for over six years, and is a Committee Member of the Major Trauma Group.
With over 15 years’ experience in the serious injury and major trauma fields of personal injury, Martin specialises in claims involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex musculoskeletal injuries, amputations and fatalities. Martin’s approach is rehabilitation focused and he is well-connected within the health and social care realm, ensuring his clients receive the physical and mental support they need while recovering from trauma. Martin has previously been involved in a number of high-profile cases, including the 2011 M5 motorway crash and the Westminster Terror Attack.
Hiring Martin has been a fantastic way to evolve one of Lime’s largest service offerings, adding to the serious injury and major trauma dimension of the personal injury team. With this level of experience on board, we can help a wider network of victims who have suffered injuries of the greatest severity.
Tony Hannington, Head of Lime Solicitors, says: “I am delighted Martin has joined our growing London operation, which adds further depth to our team dedicated to supporting those who have suffered catastrophic injury and loss. His vast knowledge and experience of dealing with the complex issues arising out of such incidents is absolutely vital to ensure rehabilitation needs are met, and an end result to provide for future care needs and financial security.”
Martin says: “I am very excited about joining Lime Solicitors as they are an empathetic, progressive, forward-thinking firm who put the needs of the client at the heart of everything they do. I look forward to playing my part in building on the exceptional work already being carried out by Lime Solicitors, and to enhance the growing reputation of the personal injury team as a market leader in the serious injury and major trauma fields.”
Bringing Martin into the Lime Solicitors team contributes to the firm’s overall strategic development; aiming to become the recommended firm for consumers in need of expert legal advice and support.
